Trainer – Darren Chong

Over the past decade, a combination of business and leisure related ventures have led Darren Chong, a Chinese origin from Malaysia, to travel extensively through Europe and Asia. Darren first realized the necessity of sensitization to regional nuances while he was heading the Operations Department of a leading MNC in China and India.

Darren’s significant market research experience and cross-cultural knowledge of Asia have contributed significantly to the successful completion an array of projects of notable scale. This includes spearheading the conception and subsequent management of an Indian subsidiary for the first Chinese technology company to be listed on the London Stock Exchange (AIM). Darren’s expertise regarding cultural corporate etiquette transcends industries, as was demonstrated when he successfully initiated the R & D for a 40-year-old Polish textile auxiliary in Malaysia and Thailand.

Currently residing in Poland, Darren represents the interests of a number of Polish entities looking to work their way through the Asian market. He conducts regular soft skills management and cross cultural workshops and training in Poland, Czech Republic, Latvia and Lithuania for public, government departments and private companies such as DHL, IBM, Comarch, Tesco, Business Center Club (BBC), Bury, Masters, Danfoss, Chamber of Commerce, Top Secret, Redan (Top Secret, Troll, textilmarket) , LPP ( House, Cropp, Mohito, Esotiq, Reserved) and many more.

Darren, author of " Jak Polacy mogą przebić mur chiński. 39 sekretów chińskiej kultury biznesu" holds diverse and enriching experience of living in Malaysia, the Philippines, China, India, Hong Kong, Poland, England and currently travelling between Poland and Asia for his business assignments.
